On Saturday, 30 fulltime and part-time faculty members of the School of Mission and Theology attended the first of a 2-day training on AI Literacy and Tools for Ministry and Teaching, co-facilitated by DRICE and DCAMD. Also present was the Dean, SMT Prof. Bernard Boyo and the Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences Dr. Josephine Munyao.

Yesterday, 28th May 2026, the Vice Chancellor hosted the Daystar Rugby Coach for a courtesy visit at his office on the Athi River Campus.
The discussion focused on the continued growth of rugby at Daystar and the vital role sports play in building leadership, teamwork, student engagement, and holistic development within the university community.
As a special gesture, the Vice Chancellor was also presented with a customized Daystar rugby jersey in recognition of his support for sports development at the university.

Congratulations to the Daystar Falcons for representing Kenya and Daystar University at the IHF Zone Five Trophy Championship in Ethiopia. Moses Munasi, Brandon Barasa, and John Daniel Hongo represented the national teams, while Coach Martin Kamau served as part of the Under 20 national team coaching staff. Both Kenyan teams secured third place and qualified for the African Championship in Ivory Coast this September.
