Are you searching for an internal body method to train mind and body?
Our taiji gongfu lineage traces directly back to legendary Chen Fake, through his son Chen Zhaokui, down to his grandson Chen Yu. Lineage holders refer to it as the “family-transmitted Kung Fu frame” (Jiachuan Gongfujia).
The Yilu (meaning “first road” or “first routine”) is the foundational form in Chen-Style Taijiquan. It is primarily a health-focused and meditative sequence designed to develop core principles: efficient body mechanics, structural alignment, pendiculation, and internal energy neijin flow.
While the form is often practiced slowly to build foundational strength and awareness, the gongfu pathway eventually scales up to include the explosive release of whole-body power.
Mastery of Yilu lays the groundwork for partnered drills like Tui Shou (Push Hands) and the more dynamic, explosive Second Form, Erlu (Cannon Fist).

Memphis rap with 《帝女花》
《帝女花》
The Flower of the Imperial Daughter is a famous Cantonese opera (粤剧) work.
A classic tragic love story set in the late Ming dynasty centered on Princess Changping (长平公主), the daughter of the Chongzhen Emperor. After the fall of the Ming dynasty, the princess faces political collapse, death of her family, and forced separation from her lover.
One of the most famous lyrical lines is:
“落花满天蔽月光”
Falling flowers fill the sky, obscuring the moonlight
The revival of Han culture is currently seen as a return to Ming dynastic roots.
Meet Song Qing (宋清) — one of China’s leading choreographers and jazz dance educators.
Known as the “Goddess of Guofeng Jazz,” she is celebrated for blending traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary jazz dance to create a unique and captivating style.
刚柔相济 (hardness and softness in harmony) :Her movements often alternate between explosive accents and flowing transitions.
以意领身 (the mind leads the body) : Rather than simply executing shapes, her movements frequently convey a strong internal narrative, which parallels the Taiji principle that intention guides qi and qi guides movement.
神韵重于技巧 (spirit and resonance above technique) : Much of the appeal of her “Guofeng Jazz” lies not merely in technical difficulty but in the transmission of mood, atmosphere, and cultural imagery. This resembles the traditional Chinese martial arts emphasis on 神shen (spirit) and 韵 yun (resonance).
