The conference is designed as a space where ideas spark, connections deepen, and new possibilities emerge for schools across Africa and beyond.

Our centerpiece keynote speaker, 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗸, brings deep expertise in Universal Design for Learning, MTSS, and inclusive practices. Novak Education describes her as founder and chief education officer, a former teacher, curriculum coordinator, and assistant superintendent, as well as an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and author of 16 books.

AISA describes Wezesha as empowerment in action and a celebration of educators supporting one another and expanding opportunities for students.

We are excited to open the conference with 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱, an author and international thought leader known for his work on school culture and Professional Learning Communities at Work. With nearly 20 years of experience as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal, his work speaks directly to schools looking to strengthen culture, collaboration, and improvement from within.

This is a keynote that promises both relevance and practical insight for educators and leaders across our community.

This session will provide educators with the opportunity to celebrate effective lessons, strategies, and events that made a lasting impact on student learning and engagement, while also honestly examining challenges faced throughout the year and the lessons learned from them. Participants will explore how both successes and setbacks can inform future practice, strengthen collaboration, and identify professional development opportunities for the upcoming school year.
