Today, on World Menstrual Health Day, we join the global community in breaking the silence around menstruation, challenging stigma, and advocating for dignity, health, and equality for every girl and woman.
Forum For African Women Educationalists- Kenya Chapter believes that menstruation should never be a barrier to education, confidence, leadership, or opportunity. Through our work in education, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), mentorship, and community engagement, we continue to empower girls with knowledge, safe spaces, and access to accurate information that enables them to manage their menstrual health safely and confidently.
🎯Menstrual health is a human rights issue. Every girl deserves access to menstrual products, clean sanitation facilities, comprehensive health education, and supportive environments free from shame and discrimination.
🤝Together, let us create a world where periods are normalised, girls stay in school, and every voice is heard without fear or stigma.

As we near the Menstrual Health Day tomorrow, the Forum For African Women Educationalists- Kenya Chapter joins the global call to champion menstrual health, dignity, and education for every girl.
We believe that no girl should miss out on learning, leadership opportunities, or her dreams because of menstruation. Through our programs, we continue to advocate for safe and inclusive learning spaces, menstrual health awareness, access to sanitary products, and empowerment for adolescent girls across communities.

✅️Menstrual health is not just a health issue, it is a matter of dignity, confidence, equality, and education. Together, we can break stigma, promote open conversations, and create a where every girl thrives.
✅️Let us continue to support, educate, and empower girls to stay in school and achieve their full potential.

This week, let us continue championing for equal access to quality education for every girl across Kenya.
🎯Empowering both boys and girls through education means empowering communities, economies, and future generations. When every child is given the opportunity to learn in safe, inclusive, and supportive environments, they gain the confidence and skills needed to shape a brighter tomorrow.
✔️Let every child have the opportunity to thrive, lead, and achieve her full potential.

Too many girls across Kenya are still forced to choose between their education and harmful practices such as early marriages, FGM, and teenage pregnancies. Forum For African Women Educationalists- Kenya Chapter believes every girl deserves the right to learn, dream, and thrive safely.
We continue to work with communities, parents, leaders, and young people to advocate for:
Ending Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM)
Ending child and early marriages
Preventing teenage pregnancies
End GBV
Supporting school re-entry for adolescent mothers
When girls are empowered through education, entire communities prosper. Let us continue creating safe spaces where girls can stay in school and fulfill their potential.
