Our Year 3s had their first residential camp and what a special experience it was.

From games and shared meals, to settling in for the night together, it was all about trying something new, a new adventure away from home and an opportunity to build confidence. It was a camp full of memories and fun.

Many thanks to the parents and the staff for making this a seamless experience for our pupils.

At Peponi House, we are celebrating World Environment Day through hands-on learning in our school Butterfly Garden.

Caterpillars are essential to healthy ecosystems and, as they become butterflies, they turn into vital pollinators to the many plant species around us. As we celebrate this year's World Environment Day, we celebrate the small pollinators that play a great role in our environment.

Moments like these inspire our pupils to understand nature’s balance and their role in protecting it.

Happy World Environment Day!

Sustainability remains a key strategic priority at Peponi, reflected in initiatives such as our Year 4 hydroponics project, where pupils are gaining practical experience using cocoa bark as an innovative growing medium.

Working in close alignment, the Eco Committee, Eco Clubs and the curriculum create opportunities for pupils to engage meaningfully with real-world challenges. Through projects like this, the pupils are building a deeper understanding on food security, sustainable agriculture and the role they can play in shaping a more sustainable future.

Year 8 pupils are applying their Design and Engineering skills through their 'Design and Make' project, exploring structures and floor plans in a hands-on way. Using foam core, they have translated initial concepts into carefully constructed model homes, demonstrating thoughtful planning and attention to detail.

This project highlights how creativity and practical problem-solving work together, giving pupils a deeper understanding of how well-designed spaces are imagined and built.

A remarkable achievement at this year’s IAPS Cross-Country event as Peponi House clinches the overall title.

Behind the victory lay months of dedication, from committed training sessions and our annual high-altitude training camp at Iten, to spirited inter-house competitions, our pupils gave their very best at every stage.

Their efforts shone through, securing individual Gold in Girls U13, Girls U9, and Boys U9, along with Silver in Boys U11 and Girls U11. Through sheer teamwork and determination, valuable points were earned across multiple races. We were delighted with the Under 9 boys securing their age section as winners, and we emerged overall victors on the day. This is our 9th IAPS cross country championship victory in the past 13 years, testament to our consistency at this wonderful event.

A fantastic testament to the pupils’ resilience and the dedicated support of our valuable Sports Department.
