Guitar lessons categories and programs we offer at Vessels MUSIC School.
Acoustic Guitar Lessons (private)
With Acoustic guitar the student learns to read music and plays a finger-style method.
Guitar Lessons – Electric Bass Guitar (Private)
In this class the student will learn to play chords, songs and finger-style on electric guitar. They will also learn scales and solo methods for electric guitar.
Guitar lessons – Chords / Songs Style (Private)
In this class the student will learn chords and songs and some finger-style guitar playing. They will read their guitar music through tablature rather than reading music.
About Our Guitar Classes
We teach guitar from Monday through to Saturday. We open our school from 8pm to 4pm in the evening and 9am on Saturdays to 1pm.

Being A Great Player Means Nothing, If You Are Not Unique...@ Vessels MUSIC
We help young music lovers figure out who they are, not what they are trying to be. For we believe, any guitarist can play better one Franco Luambo Maliadi, but it’s his uniqueness that made him stand out. Franco drew a lot of inspiration from the traditional ‘Likembe’ in his guitar licks and made music that outlasted him.
Our school encourage traditional roots like ‘Chakacha’, where we develop it into jazz, rhumba, hip hop, reggae and blues as away to maintain our originality. Keeping it real. This helps us develop a variation of Chakacha.
For us, African music is in the rhythm, and language is major part of it, as it introduces our traditional percussions and mixes them with other influences. Eric Wainaina embodies such music for Kenyans.

Meet Bernard from Cohort 4! Bernard, who was born and raised in Kibera, discovered his passion for singing and creating music as a teenager. He now hopes to start Vessels Music School which will use the "universal language of music" to bridge divides in his community, create employment, and empower youth to embrace their own creativity.
