THE BUSINESS CLASS PACKAGE: WHY MORE TRAVELLERS ARE UPGRADING
Flying is no longer just about getting from A to B — it’s also about how you get there.
More passengers are upgrading to Business Class, and for good reason.
The exact experience differs from one airline to the other, but is overall a substantial step-up from the economy-class service.
Here’s what makes the experience truly worth it:
• Priority Treatment from Start to Finish - Skip long queues with priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.
• Access to Exclusive Lounges - Relax, dine, or get some work done in peaceful, well-appointed airport lounges before your flight.
• Spacious Comfort - Enjoy wide, lie-flat seats with extra legroom and privacy — perfect for rest or productivity.
• Fine Dining in the Sky – Enjoy an extensive menu and premium drinks served on quality tableware.
• Peaceful Cabin Environment - Fewer passengers mean a quieter space, enhanced service, and more personal attention.
• Generous Baggage Allowance - Travel with more; without worrying about excess luggage fees.
• Smooth Arrival Experience - Be among the first to disembark and collect your luggage, saving precious time.
Ultimately, the shift toward business class reflects a growing demand for comfort, efficiency, and a more seamless travel experience.

What once felt like a distant crisis is now hitting closer to home. The conflict in the Middle East is no longer just “their problem” — it’s affecting us too.
Airfares are already rising. When global tensions disrupt oil supply, airlines feel it almost immediately… and passengers end up paying the price.
If you have a trip coming up; it's time to adjust your travel budget.

Here's how to pack your toiletries for your flight. Remember lotions/oils, deodorants, perfumes, shower gel, tooth paste, sunscreen and such products fall under the category of liquids, which are subjected to restrictions in the carryon luggage.
✔️ Use a clear, resealable bag
✔️ Each container should be 100ml or less
✔️ All items must fit in one bag
✔️ Keep it accessible for security checks
Pro tip: Travel-size toiletries save space and keep you stress-free at the airport. Remember any liquid above 100ml goes straight into the trash bin. Avoid losing your hygiene essentials; Pack smart!

AVIATION CAREERS BEYOND THE COCKPIT
When most people think of aviation careers, the first thing that comes to mind is the pilot in the cockpit. But the aviation industry is powered by a wide network of professionals working behind the scenes and on the ground. In this industry we have diverse roles that rarely get the spotlight; as listed below:
1. Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) / Avionics Engineers / Aeronautical Engineers:
Inspects, repairs, and maintains aircraft systems to ensure they’re airworthy. Can specialize in engines, air-frames or avionics (electronic systems). Aeronautical engineers are involved with the design, testing and developing new air-crafts.
2. Flight Attendants:
Provides in-flight service, ensures passenger safety, and handles emergencies. Acts as the link between the cockpit crew and passengers.
3. Flight Dispatcher / Flight Operations Officer:
Plans flight paths, fuel requirements, and alternate routes. Works with pilots to ensure safe and efficient operations.
4. Airport Operations Officers:
Ensures safe and efficient operations of airport facilities in the terminal, airside and ramp. Commonly known as the ramp agents.
5. Air Traffic Controllers (ATC):
Manages aircraft movement in the air and on the ground. Provides pilots with instructions to avoid collisions and keep flights on schedule.
6. Check-in Agents
Receive passengers at the airport for the check-in process. In the terminal we also have officers working at security, ticketing desk, customer care, boarding gate and so on.

WHEN THE AIRLINE LOSES YOUR LUGGAGE
You checked-in your luggage at the airport of departure, but at the destination, the luggage is nowhere to be seen on the conveyor belt. Most definitely one of the worst experience of air travel; lost luggage.
• Can you do something to keep your luggage from getting lost? Not really. Once you hand it over to the airline, the rest is up to them.
• Where did it go? Missing bags could have been left behind or loaded to a different airplane, ending up in a different location.
• How can you be better prepared for such scenarios? Anything you can’t do without, or cannot afford to lose, pack it in your hand luggage. This includes your essentials; documents, keys, medicine, gadgets, chargers and some clothes.
• Label your bags inside and outside. Airline paper tags can easily tear off. Have your own sturdy leather/plastic/metallic tags engraved with your details, so once found, they can contact you. Always choose unique coloured suitcases that are easy to identify. And take a photo before you hand them in at the airport.
• If your luggage was left behind, the airline will put it on the next available flight to your destination. Depending on the logistics, this can take days or weeks.
• If the luggage is never found, then the airline should compensate you accordingly. Fortunately, most missing bags are eventually found.
We hope your luggage gets to your destination with you. If not; you now know what to do.
