My clients and friends are all receiving the same feedback from others: “you’ve changed” and “wow- you’ve become really tough these days” and “whoa you don’t mince your words anymore, eh ?”

Every month I hear from more and more empath spouses who’ve ended their marriage. They are unable to hide from the harsh truth that they poured, gave, understood and forgave. But it was never enough.

And now ? They’re done.

No anger, no bitterness. Just a grounded, firm “Good bye”. And an acknowledgment that their empathy went too far.

And this is what’s happening in many relationships, groups, communities- and even offices.

The empath is saying: “Good bye. I’m done”.

No more contorting oneself to keep the peace. No more “Oh but hurt people hurt others, so I understand”

What this means is, many people will be dumped. By friends, spouses, kids, siblings etc who- literally - can’t stomach the imbalanced relationship anymore.

Organizations will be left. Especially by the brilliant empath who bent over backwards and made you a lot of money.

Bullies will be called out more and more.

🌎 It’s a big part of the shift we can all sense is happening in the world.

💡 The empath is undergoing a . The empath who often felt isolated is now realizing the strength they have built over the years - and they’re using it.

⏰ My own journey started 17 years ago, when I met my first coach. She was the one who warned me that I needed to temper my empathy. Too much empathy - especially towards the wrong type of people - only leads to pain.

💡 This is one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever gotten. And it’s the reason I’ve been able to navigate the very rough world we’ve all been living in, but still retain my child like nature. Still care about humanity. It’s the reason I’ve been able to remain in business.

💡 If you are the I’m referring to , worry not. Move wisely, keep those boundaries strong- and watch how you start to .

You know those experiences they call “magical” ?
Magical holidays, Christmas magic, magical birthdays etc etc

It’s not .
It’s a human being pouring - and a lot of logistics - into the experience, so that it can feel just like magic.

That human being is often (not always but very often)- the mums.

**So I’ll just say 2 things;
1. Mums- make it known that it was magical because of everything you did behind the scenes. You don’t have to be haughty or irritated or smug about it- just make it known. To all involved. Don’t hide in the background. Don’t remain silent. Speak openly about the logistics that go into creating magic in your home

It wasn’t Santa Claus. It was you.

2. Don’t let the logistics of it all, bury you.

Too many mothers are drowning in the logistics of creating love in families. Read that again.

What to do ?

You can ask for collaboration from others
Including and especially your partner, if you’re in a relationship

You can say “no” sometimes.

You can let go of the need to always make it magical
