👉 Try: "Rhymes with cat" → hat, mat, bat.
Rhymes with big → pig, wig, fig
Rhymes with hop→ mop, top, pop
👉 Let them give YOU the clue, they love stumping mum and dad!
👉 Play at dinner, in the car, anywhere!

Learning happens differently everyday in our school.Our little learners enjoy fun and engaging activitities like sand writing.Today they wrote their names, traced letters, and drew pictures in the sand.

Using sand as a learning tool allows children to explore writing in a playful and relaxed way. As they traced letters and created their drawings, they were strengthening their fine motor skills, improving hand–eye coordination, and building early writing and letter recognition skills.

Sand writing also encourages creativity, sensory exploration, and confidence in learning, because children can easily erase and try again without fear of making mistakes.

Activities like these help lay a strong foundation for reading and writing while keeping learning joyful and interactive. We are so proud of our little explorers and their growing skills!

Art and craft play a vital role in nurturing growing little minds. Through drawing, painting, cutting, and creating, children develop fine motor skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression. These activities also build confidence, patience, and focus while allowing children to explore their imagination freely.

At Green Acorn Kindergarten, we place strong emphasis on art and craft because we believe learning should be hands-on, joyful, and meaningful. By making art a core part of our learning, we help children express their thoughts and emotions, discover their unique talents, and develop skills that support early literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. Through creative play, we lay a strong foundation for confident, curious, and well-rounded learners.

We thank God for His grace and faithfulness as we begin the First Term of 2026. It is with great joy that we welcome our parents, guardians, and the entire school community to a new term filled with hope, growth, and purpose.

The whole school fraternity, our administration, committed teachers, caring drivers, and dedicated cooks, stands ready to receive and nurture our learners with love, diligence, and excellence. We warmly welcome back our continuing students and extend a heartfelt welcome to families joining us for the first time. Our intake is ongoing in Daycare, Playgroup, PP1, and PP2, and we are delighted to receive new children into our school family.

As we place this term in God’s hands, we look forward to a beautiful season ahead, full of learning, character building, joyful activities, and God’s guidance in all that we do.
