Happy World Environment Day from MAPS!

Happy Madaraka Day from MAPS. Today, we celebrate Kenya's historic journey to self-governance. We remain firmly committed to nurturing young minds with strong values, academic excellence, and a spirit of unity.

Empowering our learners with the tools for success! Today, our Grade 6 learners had an impactful session on Study Skills and Time Management with Madam Josphine Opondo from Brookhouse School. From creating personal timetables to mastering active learning, our learners are ready to own their academic journey!

Our Junior School students had the incredible privilege of hosting Prof. Alfred O***a Isaac, Deputy Vice Chancellor at the Technical University of Kenya and a global expert in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Prof. Isaac shared his inspiring academic journey from Egerton University to earning his PhD in the US, along with his groundbreaking research on brain health and medicine. His wealth of knowledge and passion for mentoring truly sparked curiosity and ambition in our young learners as they explore future career paths.

Today, we were honored and delighted to host one of our old boys, Joshua Mochache, an aerospace engineer based in Texas. He was accompanied by Travis Maloney from Michigan, together with Catherine Ontita, HCK Director.

During the visit, we held meaningful discussions on ways of supporting needy learners in our society and creating opportunities that can positively transform lives through education. We also shared our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, which outlines the school’s vision for growth, sustainability, and holistic development.

The strategic plan recognizes the important role and contribution of alumni toward the continued improvement and advancement of the school.

We were honoured to host Dr. Emily Bosibori Obaigwa today. As a Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Kenyatta National Hospital and an MMED student at the University of Nairobi, she shared invaluable insights with our learners. From choosing the right subjects to the dedication required in the medical world, her journey is a roadmap for our aspiring medics.
