2026 demanded a hard decision.
From 68 children to 22.
We chose depth over numbers.
Now, every month, we invest deeply in at least 4 children—holistic support, real transformation, lasting impact.
Fewer, yes.
But stronger. Deeper. Intentional.
And we are not stopping.

We are excited to share that 11 more pairs of Toughees shoes have been issued to children through our Dignify a Child Initiative at Hands of Help Children’s Organization.
Each pair represents more than just footwear. It is a step toward confidence, comfort, and restored dignity for learners from under-resourced communities.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to support and believe in our mission of restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity through education and community empowerment.
Together we walk children toward a brighter future, one pair at a time.

At Havens Community Library and E-learning Centre, we have seen incredible growth through our Digital Literacy sessions. Dalvin is one of those stories.
When he first joined, even moving the mouse was a struggle. Today, Dalvin can type, research, and navigate learning platforms with confidence. His journey reflects what access, patience, and opportunity can do for a child’s future.
Dalvin’s progress is a reminder that every child, when given the right tools, can rise and thrive in the digital age.

At Hands of Help Children’s Organization, we believe in building not just impact, but sustainability. 🌱
We have introduced small charges at Havens Community Library and E-Learning Centre, allowing this vital space to serve as a sustainability pillar for our work. This step ensures we can continue offering quality learning resources and a safe space for children and the community.
And we are excited to share that very soon, we will be launching the Think Wise Hub Bookshop 📚 — a sustainability-focused independent project of Hands of Help. This initiative will not only provide access to affordable books but also generate income to keep our mission alive and thriving.
Together, we are shaping a future where support for children is sustained by the community itself. đź’™

Remedial learning has become a lifeline for many children in our community who once struggled to keep up in class. By offering extra support in reading, writing, and numeracy, we are bridging learning gaps that would otherwise hold them back. Children who could not recognize letters are now able to read simple stories, those who once feared mathematics can now solve basic problems with confidence, and many have improved their class performance significantly.
Beyond academics, remedial learning has restored hope, built self-esteem, and given children a chance to believe in their own potential. Parents and teachers have noticed remarkable changes—more participation in school, better discipline, and renewed motivation. For our community, this means fewer children dropping out and more young people staying on the path of education and opportunity.
Remedial learning is not just about catching up; it is about giving every child a fair chance to thrive

Every morning in Baba Dogo, children walk through our library doors with wide eyes and eager hearts. Some come to read books they’ve never owned, others to sit at a computer for the first time. For many, the warm porridge or hot meal they receive here is the fuel that keeps them learning through the day.
At Hands of Help Children’s Organization, we have seen how a simple act—a notebook, a pair of shoes, or sanitary towels—can restore dignity and give a child the courage to stay in school. We have watched children who once sat quietly in the corner begin to raise their hands with confidence. We have seen girls who used to miss class during their periods show up every day, because they finally have the support they need.
This is the story of resilience, of young lives rewriting their futures in the middle of an informal settlement. And it is a story we cannot write alone. đź’™
Your gift—whether $5, $10, $100, $1000 or whatever you can spare—keeps this story alive. It means more meals, more books, more dignity, more hope.
