At Joswin Academy, we believe a well-rounded learner excels both in class and beyond. During lessons, pupils take part in interactive activities like group discussions, role plays, experiments, and CBC-based projects that make learning active and meaningful. After class, learners explore their passions through extra-curricular activities such as Debate Club, Drama, Journalism, Red Cross, Young Farmers, Ball Games, Volleyball, and Swimming. These programs build teamwork, confidence, and life skills, ensuring every Joswin Academy child grows in knowledge, character, and talent.

At Joswin Academy, KNEC projects are a vital part of CBC learning because they move learners from theory to practical application. These projects help pupils develop critical skills such as problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication while allowing them to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations. For Grade 6 and Junior School learners, KNEC projects also serve as a fair assessment of hands-on competencies that cannot be measured through written tests alone. By engaging in these projects, Joswin Academy learners build confidence, innovation, and responsibility — key values that prepare them for success in school and in life.

*Joswin Academy – Term Two Activities Reminder*

Dear Parents and Learners,

Welcome back to Term Two at Joswin Academy. This term will be busy and exciting beyond classwork. We have *ball games* to build teamwork and fitness through football, netball and athletics. Our *volleyball* and *swimming* sessions will help learners develop skill, discipline, and healthy competition. For learners who love expression, the *Debate Club* will sharpen public speaking and critical thinking, while the *Drama Club* will nurture creativity and confidence on stage. The *Young Farmers Club* will give hands-on lessons in agriculture and responsibility, and the *Journalism Club* will train learners in writing, reporting, and school news coverage. We also encourage all to join *Red Cross Club*, where we learn first aid, service, and care for others. Parents, kindly support your child to participate actively, bring the required kits, and keep time for practices. Together, let’s make Term Two holistic, fun, and productive.
