We had a wonderful time this afternoon diving back into our aquatic knowledge! It was the perfect blend of active learning and artistic expression. 🌊🐟

🎣 Catching the Basics
To keep our skills sharp, we did a quick, fun review of "how to catch a fish." We practiced the movements and the English vocabulary associated with the process, focusing on fun action words like "cast," "wait," "reel," and "catch!" It was a great way to engage the students' imaginations and get them excited about our underwater theme. 🗣️🎣

🎨 Colorful Catch of the Day
After our "fishing trip," we turned our focus to art! The children unleashed their creativity by painting their own fish. It was a joy to see them:

Farewell to the Sands: Our Mini Desert Masterpieces! 🏜️🎨✨

We’ve officially finished our sun-soaked adventure! This morning, the children put all their knowledge of the desert to work by creating their very own "Mini Desert" art pieces. ☀️🌵

🌵 A World in a Workspace
The classroom was buzzing with creativity as the students designed their own miniature desert landscapes. This final project was the perfect way to wrap up our unit, allowing the children to:

Synthesize Their Learning: They applied everything they’ve discovered this week—from the hot sun and golden sand to the unique plants and animals—into one cohesive creation! 🧠🏜️

Our desert unit took a fascinating turn this morning! We swapped our usual brushes for watercolors to learn about one of the desert's most unique (and misunderstood!) creatures: the scorpion. 🦂☀️

The classroom was a flurry of color as the children explored the beautiful, flowing effects of watercolors. Painting a scorpion gave us a wonderful opportunity to:

The classroom was filled with laughter as we broke out the colorful parachute! 🎈 This was an excellent way to practice our gross motor skills by lifting, shaking, and moving together in unison. It’s not just about fun—it’s also a great way to:
