Why don't you give it a try and be the next super reader in funway?

Open classes have finished and everyone did so well! The students at Funway are still hard at work even when their parents are not around.

The spring quarter is coming to an end very soon. We hope to see all our current students next quarter. Hopefully there will be new students joining the Funway family as well.

We will hold a summer presentation later this month on May 21 to discuss various aspects about Funway.

We hope many interested parents will be able to attend.

Why should you send your student to Funway rather than some other academy? There are several things that make Funway unique.

First is our American homestay concept. We're like a family and the building is our family home.
Students don't march between classes like robots. They spend their break times having fun together.

Second is our emphasis on speaking rather than filling out workbooks.

Third is our fun academic events like English Book Club and Vocab King and Queen. The students are off and running!

Finally, we offer interative media activities to keep students engaged and having fun! You can only get these benefits at a place like Funway.

The students at Funway are enjoying another week learning English. With emphasis on speaking, writing, and readinf excellence, they are making so much progress.

If you've missed our Funway Classics Cams giving you an insight into the workings of our classes, you're in luck. In May we will be holding open classes for parents of currently enrolled students.

Parents can sit outside the classroom and observe the lesson for that day. We hope the students won't be too distracted by their parents being around.

We're having another fun and educational week at Funway. Midterm exams are making the students work really hard, but after class, they can relax by checking out a book from our library.

Students may pick out books at break time or after class. They must bring them to a teacher to be checked out. When they finish the book and return it, they move forward on our book club track.

At Funway, we're encouraging literacy and a love of reading in our students.

An important week is coming up at Funway: soon our students will be taking their midterm tests. The tests will be held on April 12 (Monday), April 13 (Tuesday), and April 14 (Wednesday).

During the class before the tests, teachers will have a review session with each class. Then, the students will take their test the following class.

Some classes have only just started or have already taken an exam recently. These classes will not have an exam.
The students have been working and studying very hard, so we are sure they will all do well.

At Funway, we want to encourage our students to be avid readers. To help them foster a love of reading, we have our Funway Book Club.

As part of the book club, students will check out books from the library. The parents will inform us when their student has finished reading the book and the book will be returned.

After we confirm that the student finished reading the book, their name is moved along on our race board. Once the students reach the end, they are given Funway Dollars which can be used to buy an apartment in Knowledge Tower.

We hope our program sparks a lifelong interest in reading in all our students.

The students at Funway are happy to start another fun week of learning with their friends. They listen to the teachers well and practice their new skills hard.

The teachers get to see their hard work pay off every day. It can be harder for the parents to see how their students improve once they leave the classroom, but that's why we have Funway Classics cams!

These live streamed videos give Funway parents a first-row seat to the activities inside our classrooms. Be on the lookout for Funway Classics cams in the future!

The students at Funway are hard at work this week. They have a good reason to do their best: the Funway bank is open for business!

To get a Funway Dollar, students must complete their homework and bring it to class for the teacher to check. They can earn another Funway Dollar if they get 100% on a quiz in class.

The students line up in the lobby during break time to get their reward. They tell the teacher at the desk that they did their homework or their quiz and ask “May I have a dollar, please?”
