Last day of our Life Skills Award Ceremony ✨
This year, our Seventh Grade students piloted a brand‑new Life Skills class, diving into essentials like self‑control, conflict resolution, and healthy communication. 🌱✨
From day one to today, this group has shown tremendous growth—rising to challenges, supporting one another, and becoming more confident in who they are and how they show up. We’re so proud of how far they’ve come, and we can’t wait to see the amazing things they’ll accomplish next year. 🌟
A heartfelt thank‑you to Ms. Lilie, whose passion and dedication brought this special program to life. Your leadership has made a lasting impact on these awesome students. 💙✨

Our Grade 7 students recently visited the Water Authority to deepen their understanding of the themes and challenges explored in A Long Walk to Water. 💧📚
Through this hands-on learning experience, students gained valuable insight into the importance of access to clean water, the processes involved in providing safe drinking water, and the impact water scarcity can have on communities around the world.
Connecting literature to real-world experiences helps bring learning to life and encourages students to think critically about global issues. A huge thank you to the Water Authority team for sharing their knowledge and helping our students make meaningful connections beyond the classroom!

Grade 8 practiced their debate skills in English class by taking a stand on deforestation. This aided in their learning of their novel study: Hatchet, a book about a 13 year old boy who gets stranded in the Canadian wilderness and has to survive off the land around him. Students researched their stance and used evidence to defend their ideas. 🌲🐻👨⚖️

🤿 This week, our Grade 12 Marine Science class dove deep into the wonders of the ocean with Guest Presenter, Dr. Brian Jones!
🐠 Dr. Jones shared his expertise on coral reefs — their vibrant ecosystems, the threats they face, and why preserving these biological treasures is crucial for our planet’s future.
🌊 Minds were opened, questions were asked, and a new wave of ocean advocates was inspired.
