We blend play-based interventions and neuroscience to support your child's development.

A pediatric therapy clinic offering speech-language therapy and occupational therapy that is child led, scientifically-driven, and play-based to children with different needs and their families. We provide individual and group treatment; assessments and school recommendations; feeding therapy; and social skills support.

Mealtimes are about more than food. For some children, challenges with eating can be influenced by sensory processing, past experiences, oral motor skills, routines, and regulation.

That’s why our Parent, Play, Eat (PPE) program takes a whole-child approach to feeding support. Led by an Occupational Therapist, PPE helps children build confidence exploring foods while providing caregivers with practical strategies to support success at home.

Our small group format allows for individualised support, meaningful discussion, and a deeper understanding of what may be contributing to feeding challenges.

Did you know that play helps build the foundations for almost every area of development?

Through play, children learn to communicate, regulate emotions, solve problems, develop friendships, strengthen their bodies, and make sense of the world around them.

What looks like “just playing” is actually the way children practice skills they will use for the rest of their lives.

At Cayman Theraplay, we know that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are engaged, connected, and having fun. That’s why play isn’t a reward for hard work, it’s often the work itself.

Happy International Day of Play

Our Summer Therapy Intensives are designed for children and teens who need focused support to build skills that can be difficult to target during the busy school year.

They can be especially helpful for children who are struggling with:

• handwriting and written work
• reading and literacy skills
• attention, regulation, and executive functioning
• speech, language, and communication
• feeding and picky eating
• social skills and confidence
• independence with everyday tasks
• sensory processing challenges

Intensives provide more frequent Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, or Feeding Therapy sessions over a shorter period of time, allowing children to make meaningful progress on specific goals.

They are particularly beneficial for children in public schools, those enrolled in EIP programs, and older children with busy afterschool schedules during the school year.

Programs are available for toddlers through teens, and most insurances are accepted.

At Cayman Theraplay, it means your child’s therapists work together, not separately.

Our Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Therapists collaborate to understand the whole child, share strategies, align goals, and create support that carries over into home and school.

Because communication, movement, regulation, attention, and learning are all connected.

For families, this means:
• less repetition
• clearer plans
• more consistent support
• therapy that feels connected, not fragmented
It’s a team approach designed around how children actually develop.
