Fond St. Jacques Primary School

Fond St. Jacques RC Primary School thanks Officer Monroe for coming to our school to speak to our students on the topics: Sexual Harrassment, good touch and bad touch, good and bad secrets and Cyber bullying.

It was a thorough discussion with students and they learnt important information based on the topics discussed as they head to secondary school.

Students were also treated to some sweet treats when they responded correctly to questions.

Life Skill Lesson Number 4: Learning how to Cook

Today, our Grade Six's participated in a cooking class facilitated by Mr. Targe Stephen. He did an amazing job in leading this session. Students got a hands on experience. They engaged in the entire process of cooking.

At the end, the finished product was Basmati rice served with marry me chicken breast with carrot puree and steamed carrots.

We thank Mr. Targe Stephen immensely for his time and for teaching the younger generation the art of cooking.

Miss Sonia Cazaubon visited us at Fond St. Jacques Primary School today and she came to speak to our Grade Six students about The Flowing Clean project, watersheds, water sources, water testing and the importance of not littering

It was certainly an eye opening session for our students and many of them vowed to do differently when it comes to taking care of the environment.

Miss Cazaubon, we appreciate you for the interactive and informative session held with our pre- secondary school students. We know that they will aim to be different when it comes to caring for the environment.

Today, we received a visit from the Substance Abuse Council Secretariat a division from the Ministry of Health. They came to speak to our Grade Six's about the effects of va**ng and why they should avoid engaging in this practice.
At the end of the presentation, students were given opportunities to answer questions and win tokens.
We are thankful for this educational session with our students.

Our Grade Six's headed to another community establishment- La Belvedere. We are truly grateful to the management and staff of La Belvedere for imparting knowledge on how to set a table and table etiquette. Students were also taught the procedures involved in how to place an order and they got a true experience when they were served what they ordered.👏👏🙌
Our Fond St. Jacques business community is really doing an awesome job in instructing our students within their various fields and we are so grateful.
