Learning by doing is the foundation of quality education.

Our *NVQ Level 4 Training & Evaluation* students demonstrated their language and literacy skills through a practical learning experience by planning, organizing, and delivering a delightful tea table setting.

As part of the activity, students prepared delicious finger food and refreshing blue butterfly pea flower tea, confidently explaining their preparation process before serving their guests with professionalism and care.

This hands-on experience helped students strengthen their communication, teamwork, event organization, and customer service skills while building confidence in a real-world setting.

PolyCampus recently hosted an insightful and interactive workshop on the theme “AI and Humans: Collaborators, Not Competitors”, led by A/Prof Andrew Cunningham, Co-Director of the Wearable Computer Lab at Adelaide University’s Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments.

As an expert in immersive technologies and artificial intelligence, A/Prof Cunningham shared valuable insights into the evolving relationship between AI and people in today's rapidly changing world.

In an era where many wonder whether AI will replace human roles, this workshop highlighted a different perspective: the future belongs to collaboration, not competition. From Cyber Security and Information Technology to Early Childhood Education, AI has the power to transform industries-but its true potential can only be realised when combined with human creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and expertise.

Participants gained a deeper understanding of how AI works, how it can be embraced as a powerful tool, and why human contribution remains essential in every profession.
