On the 25th of April 2026, our Gaveliers came together to celebrate an important milestone; the 15th anniversary of our Gavel Club, held in the spirit of avurudu.
The Gaveliers came dressed in vibrant traditional attire and took part in various avurudu games, enjoyed delicious traditional snacks, and paid gratitude to our mentor and counselors in true avurudu fashion.
As we honor fifteen years of voices, memories, and legacy, we look ahead to many more years of leadership, networking, and growth.
Special thanks to our club counselors TM Razik Mohamed, TM Nihal Rodrigo, TM Shirley Pieris and club mentor DTM Yogendraprasath Sathyaseelan for the guidance and support provided ❤️

This meeting is all about pausing, reflecting, and discovering how thankfulness can shape our mindset, our words, and the way we connect with others.
Inspired by the beautiful theme brought to us by our amazing TMOD GV Oshadie Wanninayake, this educational meeting will remind us that when we speak with gratitude, we speak with warmth, purpose, and sincerity.

This Mother’s Day, the members of CA Gavel Club shared some of the words and reminders their mothers often say phrases that have stayed with us through every stage of life.
Though each answer was different, every response reflected the same love, strength, care, and encouragement that mothers give so selflessly. ❤️
Today, we celebrate the women who continue to inspire confidence, kindness, resilience, and growth in each of us.
