As part of RIUNIT’s preliminary research process for an upcoming country report on Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, members of our team recently met with Mr. Nalin Jayasundera, Managing Director of Aitken Spence Travels.

The meeting formed part of our wider stakeholder engagement initiative, through which RIUNIT is gathering expert perspectives from key industry leaders to understand better the sector’s current performance, market dynamics, emerging opportunities, operational challenges, and future outlook.

Direct industry engagement is central to the way we approach research. By combining market data with first-hand insights from sector leaders, RIUNIT aims to develop a more grounded and practical understanding of the forces shaping Sri Lanka’s tourism landscape.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Jayasundera for sharing his valuable time and insights with our research team.
