Representing Thomas Gall School were three of our fantastic leaders, who participated in professional discussions, knowledge-sharing, and networking with peers from the international school sector.

Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough! πŸŒΏπŸŽ‰

Our Upper Primary and Lower Secondary students at TGS have completed a wonderful art and research project to celebrate the 100th birthday of the legendary wildlife presenter Sir David Attenborough.

With the valuable guidance and support of Mrs. Juliet Coombe, British photojournalist and author, the students researched Sri Lanka’s unique endemic wildlife and created beautiful paintings and masks showcasing these special species.

This project combined practical activities with artistic creativity, helping our young learners develop a greater love and understanding for nature and conservation, values Sir David has inspired worldwide for decades.

Mrs. Juliet Coombe proudly delivered by hand the students and teachers' happy birthday photograph of them all with their work to Sir David at his home in Richmond, London, UK, a heartfelt birthday message from the children of TGS.

Thank you from all of us for your incredible lifetime of work protecting our planet and inspiring generations of young conservationists.

With admiration and gratitude,

From all of us at TGS πŸ’™
