It was a simple yet colourful celebration, made even more memorable by the wonderful fathers who proudly dressed as their chosen heroes. To every child, a father is a true hero—offering love, strength, guidance, and protection. 💙

Every day is a special day for fathers, but today we take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the invaluable role you play in the lives of your children.
A father is a reflection of God’s love — giving unconditionally, guiding with strength, and standing as a source of protection, wisdom, and support. Vesak Blessings from Little VIP’s Montessori
As we celebrate the sacred festival of Vesak, may the light of the Buddha’s teachings fill our hearts with peace, kindness, wisdom, and compassion.
Vesak reminds us of the importance of loving one another, helping those in need, speaking gently, and living with gratitude. These beautiful values are reflected each day in our Montessori community through the caring relationships shared between our children, families, and educators.
We sincerely thank all our parents, teachers, and children for their support, cooperation, and dedication in making our Vesak celebrations meaningful and memorable. May this blessed season inspire us to continue nurturing kindness, understanding, and respect in everything we do.

🪔 Vesak Celebrations at Little VIP’s Montessori 🪔
Vesak is the most sacred festival in the Buddhist calendar and an important part of our culture and heritage. At Little VIP’s Montessori, our children were immersed in a variety of meaningful Vesak activities that helped them learn about the life and teachings of the Buddha while appreciating the traditions of our country.
Throughout the celebration, the children proudly hoisted the Buddhist flag, coloured the six colours of the Buddhist flag, learned about the significance of Themagula, explored different types of Vesak lanterns, created beautiful lanterns of their own, and wrote and posted Vesak cards to share messages of kindness and goodwill. The celebrations concluded with a peaceful and memorable visit to the temple, where the children experienced the spiritual atmosphere of Vesak firsthand.
Through these experiences, our little learners developed an understanding of Buddhist values such as loving-kindness, compassion, generosity, gratitude, and respect for all living beings.
We are grateful to our parents and teachers for their support in making this year’s Vesak celebrations meaningful and memorable for our children.
