The Old Boys’ Association of Zahira College, Matale extends its 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗝. 𝗠. 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗮𝘇 on being entrusted with the prestigious responsibility of leading the Sri Lankan Junior Team in Kazakhstan as Head Coach.

𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬’ 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 & 𝟏𝟏 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 🌟

On 11th June 2026, a highly successful motivational programme was conducted for the Grade 10 and 11 students of Zahira College, Matale, under the sponsorship of the 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬’ 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐎𝐁𝐀) – 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠.

The session was facilitated by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐔.𝐌. 𝐅𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲, who delivered an inspiring and informative presentation focused on developing a positive mindset, setting educational goals, and motivating students towards academic excellence and personal growth. The programme was greatly appreciated by the students and proved to be both engaging and beneficial.

The Under-20 team delivered an impressive performance at the All Island Inter-School Hockey Tournament 2026 held in Mihinthale, Anuradhapura, competing against 20 leading schools across Sri Lanka.
