✅Be professionally prepared every day
Walk into class with clear objectives, not improvisation. Unprepared teaching signals low self-regard.

✅Guard your language in and out of class
Avoid gossip, sarcasm or emotional outbursts. Your words either build authority or destroy it.

✅Set firm classroom boundaries early
Don’t negotiate discipline daily. What you allow repeatedly becomes your identity in the classroom.

✅Stop over-explaining your decisions
You are not a defendant. Explain when necessary not to seek approval.

✅Dress like a professional you are.
Appearance is not vanity. it’s non-verbal authority. Dress communicates expectation.

✅Respect time as a professional asset
Late arrival, delayed marking and missed commitments reduce how others value you.

✅Refuse to compete in gossip culture
Teachers who thrive avoid staffroom politics and focus on competence.

✅Keep upgrading your skills intentionally
A stagnant teacher becomes easily replaceable in perception and influence.

✅Separate kindness from weakness
Be approachable not permissive. Students respect clarity more than friendliness without structure.

✅Protect your emotional stability
Don’t let students, parents or colleagues dictate your mood or identity daily.
