Today, Tiny Tots Combined School joins the world in observing Menstrual Hygiene Day under the global theme:
“Together for a ”
This day aims to raise awareness about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene and to promote dignity, confidence, and education for all girls.
Menstruation is a natural part of life, yet many girls still face challenges due to lack of information, limited access to sanitary products, and stigma surrounding periods. As a school, we believe that every learner deserves a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where they can learn comfortably and confidently.
We encourage our learners and community to: • Promote good menstrual hygiene practices
• Support and respect one another
• Break the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation
• Help ensure that no girl misses school because of her period
Together, we can create a more informed, caring, and inclusive society.

Today, Tiny Tots Unit had the honour of hosting visitors from the Christian Health Association of Lesotho (CHAL), alongside representatives from Christian Health Association of Zambia (CHAZ) and the Lesotho Girl Guides Association (LGGA).
This visit follows the successful implementation of a project carried out from April to December 2025, where LGGA partnered with CHAL and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance to promote Under-5 Immunisation sensitisation and mobilisation for parents and caregivers within the Mohlakeng Community Council catchment area, working closely with P**i Health Centre. During the project, LGGA also raised awareness on HPV through its programmes.
CHAZ expressed interest in witnessing firsthand how Girl Guiding disseminates important information through its programmes, as LGGA had been recognised for its exceptional work in community information sharing and awareness campaigns.
We are proud that Tiny Tots Unit was part of this important exchange of learning, collaboration, and community empowerment. 💙🌍

Today, our students were proudly honoured at the LGCSE, IGCSE & Grade 7 Awards Ceremony 2026, hosted by the Lesotho Science and Mathematics Teachers Association (LSMTA) 🏆
