Riga State Gymnasium No. 1

It has changed several names and languages of instruction over time. Since 1997.

Riga State Gymnasium No.1 (Latvian: Rīgas Valsts 1. ģimnāzija or simply RV1Ģ) is one of the oldest schools in the Baltic States – just a decade newer than Riga itself. Today Riga State Gymnasium No.1 is one of the leading secondary schools in Latvia and absolute leader in mathematics and computer sciences. Gymnasium offers also the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programs, taught in English and offering and internationally recognized diploma along with the national one.
