When the team of 9th form pupils from Cimișlia opened the Bookr Next digital library and read the story of GRIT — passion, perseverance, and the will to keep going — they knew immediately whose story they would tell as part of the 2 Round of the Bookr Reading World Cup 2026.

Are you addicted to social media — or just really, really fond of it?
It is a question worth sitting with for a moment. And a group of 11th form pupils decided not just to ask it — but to discuss it, record it and share it with all of us. ✨
As part of Round 2 of the Bookr World Reading Cup 2026, these students held a recorded Zoom session where they continue to explore one of the most relevant topics of their generation: Social Media Addiction. They spoke about the cost of always being online.
And now they want to hear from you.
Because a great discussion doesn't end when the recording stops. It continues — in the comments, in the conversations we have with our children, and in the honest answers we give when nobody is watching.

Despite the scorching summer heat, teams continue to submit their video presentations for Round 2 of the Bookr Reading World Cup! ☀️📚

Today, we are delighted to share a creative sequel to the story I'm Moving from the Bookr Class platform.

This presentation is especially inspiring because Sorin had sprained his ankle during outdoor activities shortly before the video was recorded. Despite the pain and inconvenience, he remained determined and successfully completed the project with his team.

A special mention goes to Bogdan, a 2nd-form pupil who challenged himself by reading books from Level 4 and proved to be an excellent teammate. His enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to take on more advanced reading materials made him a wonderful partner for Sorin throughout the competition.

🌟 Together, they have shown that determination, teamwork, and a love of reading can help overcome any obstacle.

How reliable is the weather forecast in England — and what should you really know before planning a hiking adventure?
If you have ever been caught in unexpected rain on a mountain trail, you already know the answer. But knowing it in English — with confidence, with vocabulary and with the kind of fluency that turns a topic into a real conversation — that is something else entirely. ✨

The students of Liceul Teoretic Hyperion, Durlești decided to find out — and to share what they discovered in the most creative way possible.

As part of the creative round of the Bookr World Reading Cup 2026, this team explored the unpredictable nature of English weather, the essential vocabulary of outdoor adventure and everything a hiker needs to know before setting off into the British countryside.

Because in England, the forecast says sunny — and you still pack a raincoat. ☔

What came out of their research is not just a school project. It is a genuinely engaging piece of work that shows how deeply these students have connected with their reading, their topic and the English language.
