⏩After four days of vigorous scientific work, demonstrations, disseminations, discussions and networking - we can proudly state that👇

👏🏻15th MECO Conference alongside the 7th Summer School were successfully realized! 🎉

Having gather once again in Budva, this Year once again attested what makes our Conference and Summer School great:

✅ inspired and dedicated keynotes
✅hands-on sessons and practical demonstrations of novel technologies
✅a state of art approach to the relevant topics

…and most of all 👉 a dedicated community of exprets, reviewers, volonteers, partners and supporters ✅

We thank all the reviewers, keynotes and speakers - you made this conference what it always must be - a standard IEEE conference - and the top computing conference in this reason. But most of all, we thank all the participants. The Conference and the Summer School are here for you, and you make them great.

🤝 A rich and successful first day of this year's MECO Conference!

📈 MECO'26 opened by introductory speeches of the Conference General Chair and founder prof. dr Radovan Stojanovic and the conference partner, Budo Lutovac, the Dean of the Electrotechnical Faculty of University of Montenegro; as well as the long-time fellow and partner of the Conference Betim Cico. During the introductory speeches, we've had the opportunity to hear how MECO Conference has become, over time, not only the most renowned computing Conference in Montenegro and this part of the world, but also a center around which a true scientific community in true sense of this word has develop, one which fosters not only research and innovation, but also friendships and support.

🙏 We therefore remembered and paid homage to those of us who are no longer with us, foremost our distinguished fellow and supporter, professor Miroslav Lutovac from University of Belgrade, who was a dear friend of our Conference, and whose legacy we will continue to foster.

💡 The working part of the Conference was opened by professor Veljko Milutinovic (Purdue University, IEEE et. al) - who delivered an inspiring and enthusiastic keynote lecture, covering the development but also the future of computing - in a manner which sparked an live discussion of the interested participants.

⏩ Afterwards, the Conference continued its work in three parallel sessions and a Summer School, during which numerous participants shared their most recent research in appropriate thematic sessions, followed by active discussions and exchanges of ideas.

🕒 During the following three days, our participants will continue to share their research, projects and innovations, developing new knowledges and ideas, but also friendships and connections.

🍷 With this in mind, the first working day closed with an appropriate dinner - during which our participants had the chance to acquaint themselves with local Montenegrin wines produced by 13.jul-Plantaže, not only by tasting them, but also getting to hear about the most recent scientific insights into the unique genome, history and structure of Montenegrin vines, delivered by our Conference dear partners and supporters - prof. dr Vesna Maras and prof. dr Miodrag Grbić.

🙋 We thank all our participants and especially to our team and volunteers from the organizers - Montenegrin Association for New Technologies MANT and MECOnet - we're continuing towards day two!

🏢 The Organizing Committee of the upcoming 15th Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO’2026) and the 14th International Conference on Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet-of-Things (CPSIoT’2026) has extended the deadline for full paper submissions for both conferences until April 26th, 2026.

📰 This is a great opportunity to submit your paper to the upcoming MECO&CPSIoT2026 conference and have it published by IEEE.

⏲️ To avoid paper jams, manuscripts submitted before the deadline will be reviewed as they arrive. We kindly ask you to submit your manuscripts as soon as they are ready.
