🎒 Preschool - это первый класс в нашей образовательной программе.

Если детский сад стал тесен для любознательного ребёнка, если ему хочется узнавать больше, задавать вопросы, читать, считать, исследовать, учиться на английском языке и чувствовать себя настоящим учеником, ждать наступления семи лет совсем не обязательно. Уже в 5,5 лет ребёнок может прийти в наш Preschool-класс.

Preschool — это пространство, где сохраняются игра, движение и радость детства, но появляется настоящая учебная среда.
Мы не готовим детей к будущему обучению — мы уже учимся. Просто делаем это в возрасте, когда интерес к миру особенно велик, а знания естественно рождаются из исследования, игры и открытий.

В основе программы лежит IPC (International Primary Curriculum) — международная аккредитованная образовательная программа, по которой учатся дети во многих странах мира.

Что мы делаем в Preschool?

🔤 Делаем первые шаги к грамотности
Изучаем буквы, звуки и рифмы, учимся слышать и понимать, как устроены языки.

📖 Открываем для себя мир книг
Мы много читаем, обсуждаем прочитанное, работаем со звуками, буквами и текстами. Благодаря билингвальной программе дети осваивают чтение на двух языках — английском и родном. Это не только развивает речь и мышление, но и создаёт прочную основу для дальнейшего обучения.

🔢 Осваиваем математику и логическое мышление
Знакомимся с числами, закономерностями и базовыми математическими понятиями, учимся рассуждать, сравнивать, искать решения и делать выводы.

🎨 Развиваем творческие навыки и пространственное мышление
Рисуем, лепим, строим, исследуем формы и пространство. Через творчество дети развивают воображение, мелкую моторику и способность мыслить образами.

✍️ Учимся писать
Тренируем правильный захват карандаша, координацию движений и навыки, которые помогают сделать письмо уверенным и красивым.

🧩 Играем настольные игры и в театр
Учимся следовать правилам, строить стратегии, искать решения и мыслить нестандартно.

🧠 Проводим ежедневные нейрозарядки
Через игровые упражнения развиваем координацию, внимание, память, межполушарные связи и навыки, важные для успешного обучения.

💡 Preschool в Adriatic Open - это место, где ребёнок не ждёт школу, а уже живёт насыщенной школьной жизнью: учится читать на двух языках, берётся за решение математических задач, исследует мир через международную программу IPC, знакомится с историей древних цивилизаций, учится задавать вопросы, искать ответы, дружить, сотрудничать и договариваться.
Именно так начинается настоящее современное образование.

And just like that, another school year has come to an end ✨

The highlight of our final days was our graduation performance, inspired by Christoph Willibald Gluck’s opera Orpheus and Eurydice.

All of our Primary School students took part. The performance featured the original Chorus of the Furies, the Dance of the Furies and the Dance of the Blessed Spirits, as well as music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Alexander Siloti and Alfred Schnittke.

It was much more than a stage production. It was a wonderful collaboration between children and adults, bringing together music, theatre, dance, creativity and true teamwork.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our team:

– Natalia Anastasieva, for adapting the script;
– Kirill Bikov, for translating the script into English and creating a poetic translation of the Chorus of the Furies;
– Alexandra Parshina and Anna Kanubrikova, for the musical accompaniment;
– Alexandra Parshina, Sergey Pechinkin, Ekaterina Rybakova, Maria Polubinskaya and Maria Vasilyeva, for their help with the sets and costumes.

The performance was conceived and directed by Anna Kanubrikova.

On this special day, we also presented our students with their IPC and IMYC certificates and announced the results of our school badminton tournament.

We spent the final school day in a relaxed and joyful way - exactly how a school year should end 💛

The students created keepsake certificates with messages and signatures from friends and teachers, took part in a quiz, played games, carried out experiments, explored their creativity and examined plants under a microscope.

At the end of the day, we looked back on the most memorable moments of the year, shared our hopes for the future and said goodbye.

Thank you to our students, teachers and parents for your support, courage, discoveries and the joy of everything we have achieved together.

This week, Adriatic International and Adriatic Open reached an important milestone - IPC Recognition as part of the IPC Accreditation process ✨

For our schools, this is an opportunity to confirm the quality of our educational model, the expertise of our team, and the learning culture we have built together.

The International Primary Curriculum is one of the key elements and the intellectual framework of our Primary School. IPC helps children see connections between subjects, ask questions, explore the world, and apply their knowledge in practice.

Through topics and inquiry-based learning, other areas of the curriculum come to life: English, advanced mathematics, IT, literature, history, drama, music, art, sport, as well as natural and social sciences. From Grade 0, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, and technology become part of a child’s educational experience - at the very age when curiosity is especially strong.

IPC makes learning not only academically strong, but also meaningful, connected to real life, and relevant to each child’s successful future. The programme develops a global outlook, independence, collaboration, the ability to find and analyse information, and the confidence to create solutions in new situations.

The Recognition process confirms that a school follows safeguarding policies, applies modern approaches to assessment, maintains high standards of teaching, supports teacher development, and systematically embeds the programme into all aspects of school life. Before reaching this stage, a primary school works with IPC for at least two years under the mentoring support of ICA.

On the day of the visit, our Grade 4 students led a tour of the Primary School, while students, teachers, and parents shared how IPC lessons take place - from Entry Point and Knowledge Harvest to Research–Record–Reflect and the final Exit Point.

It was especially meaningful that the ICA experts said: “Schools can be proud of their parents.” And we truly are proud of our parent community. The partnership between families and school is one of Adriatic’s core values.

For us, this recognition is an important result of five years of work in building a modern European educational model: academically strong, international in spirit, and focused on the happy development of every child.

New Edumonte projects may appear on the map of Montenegro and in other European countries, while existing ones may grow and transform, opening new chapters in their story. But what remains unchanged is what matters most: belief in every child, high standards of educational quality, and the strongest teams of teachers and mentors.

We continue to develop the key international programmes within our K–12 model:
- IPC in Primary School,
- IMYC in Middle School,
- US High School Diploma + AP in High School.

ICA is an international educational community that brings together more than 1,000 schools in over 90 countries worldwide. It is especially meaningful for us that, in the Balkans, our Adriatic schools are represented as the only schools in this community.

На этой неделе в Adriatic International и Adriatic Open прошёл важный этап - IPC Recognition в рамках процесса IPC Accreditation ✨

Для наших школ это возможность подтвердить качество образовательной модели, экспертизу команды и культуру обучения, которую мы создали.

International Primary Curriculum - один из ключевых элементов и интеллектуальный каркас начальной школы. IPC помогает детям видеть связи между предметами, задавать вопросы, исследовать мир и применять знания на практике.
Через темы и исследования раскрываются другие предметы программы: английский язык, углублённая математика, IT, литература, история, театр, музыка, искусство, спорт, а также естественные и социальные науки. Уже с 0 класса физика, химия, биология, география и технологии становятся частью образовательного опыта ребёнка - именно тогда, когда детская любознательность особенно сильна.

IPC делает знания не только академически сильными, но и осмысленными, связанными с реальной жизнью и успешным будущим ребёнка. Программа развивает глобальный взгляд, самостоятельность, сотрудничество, умение находить и анализировать информацию и придумывать решения в новых ситуациях.

Процесс Recognition подтверждает, что школа соблюдает политики безопасности, современные подходы к оцениванию, поддерживает высокое качество преподавания, развивает учителей и системно внедряет программу во все аспекты школьной жизни. Перед этим этапом начальная школа работает по IPC не менее двух лет под менторским сопровождением ICA.

В день визита наши четвероклассники провели экскурсию по начальной школе, а ученики, учителя и родители рассказали, как проходят IPC-уроки: от Entry Point и Knowledge Harvest до Research–Record–Reflect и финального Exit Point.
Особенно ценно, что эксперты ICA отметили: “Школа может гордиться своими родителями.” И мы действительно гордимся нашим родительским сообществом. Партнёрство семьи и школы - одна из важнейших ценностей Adriatic.

Для нас это признание стало важным итогом пяти лет работы по созданию современной европейской модели: академически сильной, международной по духу и ориентированной на счастливое развитие ребёнка.

На карте Черногории и в других странах Европы могут появляться новые проекты Edumonte, могут трансформироваться и прежние, открывая новые главы своей истории. Но неизменным остаётся главное: вера в ребёнка, высокие стандарты качества образования, сильнейшие команды учителей и наставников

✨ Our Grade 2 and Grade 3 students completed the unit Temples, Tombs and Treasures and shared their discoveries about Ancient Egypt and Ancient Sumer with their parents at the final Exit Point.

The students spoke about timelines, the BCE and CE periods, the first civilizations, and daily life in Ancient Sumer. They introduced guests to ancient writing systems, explained what cuneiform is, and shared fascinating facts about Sumerian inventions.

The section on Ancient Egypt was just as exciting. The students talked about pharaohs, the construction of the pyramids, ancient Egyptian beliefs, and presented their own “Books of the Dead”*, created as part of the unit. They also discussed popular theories about the origins of the pyramids and explained why not all of them are supported by scientific evidence.

These are the kind of interesting topics we explore through the IPC programme in Primary School.

After the presentations, parents were invited to explore the themed stations, where they could taste some Ancient Sumerian food, build a pyramid from sugar cubes, and try writing symbols with a reed stylus on modelling clay.

It was a warm, meaningful, and truly engaging Exit Point, where the children did not just talk about the past - they helped everyone experience a little piece of it. 💫

*The Book of the Dead was an ancient Egyptian collection of texts and symbols which, according to Egyptian beliefs, helped a person on their journey to the afterlife.

Our traditional weekly highlights 👋

We are already actively preparing for this year’s graduation and working on something very special for our parents! At the same time, our academic days remain just as full and engaging.

💡 Our youngest Preschool students explored a serious topic in IPC - the internal organs of the human body. We discussed what different organs do and why it is so important to take care of our bodies.

💡 In Grade 1, we talked about fables and morals. What does it mean to be a good person? What rules help us live together? As part of the "Stories People Tell" unit, students also painted plates inspired by ancient stories about Greek gods, Pandora’s box, Orpheus and Eurydice, and other plots. It was wonderful to listen to the children telling the stories they had created “on their plates”.

📚 In Grade 4 English lessons, we continued developing key communication skills, working on sentence structure, clarity of answers, basic writing, vocabulary, and confidence in discussions. It is important not only to know English, but to be able to express your thoughts clearly and freely.

🚀 And we have some great news! Our students received certificates for successfully passing their Cambridge exams. Our Grade 3 students confirmed their A1 level, Grade 4 - A2 level, while our middle school students achieved B1 and B2 levels! These are fantastic results, and we are very proud of our students!

🌱 In Grade 6 Biology, students studied dicotyledonous plants. An interesting fact: many plants we know well are dicots, for example, beans, sunflowers, apple trees, and roses. Their key feature can be seen already in the seed: these plants usually have two seed leaves.

⚙️ In Grade 7 Physics, we explored the golden rule of mechanisms and the concept of efficiency. Why can a mechanism help us gain force, but not reduce the total amount of work? And where does part of the energy “go”? These are exactly the kinds of questions that help students see physics in real life.

Этот вечер станет прекрасной возможностью услышать красоту хорового звучания, поддержать талантливых исполнителей и провести время в тёплой музыкальной атмосфере.

Лето – время путешествий, моря, прогулок и отдыха на природе. Но именно в этот период особенно важно знать, как действовать в ситуациях, которые могут быть опасны для здоровья.

На встрече разберём:

🌊 правила безопасного поведения на воде;
☀️ как избежать перегрева, солнечного и теплового удара во время жары;
🐍 что делать при укусе змеи и каких ошибок важно не допускать;
🩹 основы оказания первой помощи до приезда медицинских служб.

Встреча будет полезна взрослым, родителям, туристам, любителям отдыха на природе и всем, кто хочет чувствовать себя увереннее в нештатных ситуациях.

Our middle school students recently had their IMYC Exit Point 👏

They presented the outcomes of their work on the themes of Relationship and Resolution, and we were treated to a truly engaging format where academic ideas came together with creativity, performance, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.

Grade 7 prepared a presentation for our primary school students about relationships in language. They showed how different parts of speech “relate” to one another and work together to create the system of language. It was a meaningful linguistic presentation, with complex ideas explained clearly through examples and infographics.

Grades 6 and 7 explored the theme of Resolution together through a theatre performance - a staged adaptation of excerpts from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. In the story, Alice faces absurd rules, unexpected conflicts, and the chaos of the world around her, but gradually learns to stay clear-minded, search for answers, and make decisions. Through theatre, the students showed how, even in a world of uncertainty, we can find inner stability and a way through difficult situations.

And as our Drama Week had only recently come to an end, there was even more inspiration for the stage! Grade 4 students also joined the performances and presented an excerpt from Shakespeare.

We truly value formats like this, as they help students not only “complete a topic”, but live through it - through research, performance, teamwork, and presenting in front of an audience.
