🥋 JUDO RISING: Training Camp & Competition in Struga 🇲🇰

✅For several inspiring days, Struga became a meeting point for young female judokas, coaches, and partners coming together through sport, learning, and international exchange, from Serbia(Judo club Partizan), Croatia (Judo club Slavonac) and Macedonia (Judo club Drim as hosting club) within the JUDO Rising project.
Participants had the opportunity to compete but more importantly to improve their judo techniques, challenge themselves in competition, build friendships across borders, and experience the values that make judo much more than a sport — respect, discipline, resilience, and teamwork.

✅From intense training sessions to unforgettable moments on and off the tatami, JUDO Rising showed how sport can empower young people and create meaningful international connections.

We were proud to organize the Walk&Talk Local session of Nordic Walking in Ohrid, as an innovative way of movement, connection, and self-care. This was more than just a walk. It was a space where movement became a tool for better mental health, meaningful conversations, and reconnecting with nature and ourselves.

The Judo Rising Summer Camp and Competition is coming to Struga, bringing together talented young girls for five days of learning, competition, friendship, and empowerment. – a unique event designed to inspire more girls to embrace judo and develop both on and off the mat.

On 13 June 2026, participants of the Walk & Talk Project will gather in Ohrid for a Nordic Walking session focused on building self-confidence and recognizing and valuing personal capacities and strengths.

The activity will bring together young participants aged 15+, with a strong focus on empowering young girls through physical activity, peer support, and personal development. Through Nordic Walking and guided reflection exercises, participants will explore their strengths, increase self-awareness, and strengthen their confidence in a supportive outdoor environment.
