✨ Meet Our Principal Teacher Shin Thant Mg✨

Professional Profile

Shin Thant is a dedicated ballet educator and dance professional from Myanmar with extensive international training and teaching credentials. She received her professional ballet training at Acts Manila Ballet School (Philippines), Fusion Dance School (Myanmar), Ballet City School (Vietnam), Bangkok Ballet City (Thailand), Studio Zoom, Hong Kong Ballet School, and the Russian Ballet Theatre, gaining comprehensive exposure to diverse ballet methodologies and performance standards.
Throughout her training, Shin Thant has been mentored by distinguished dance educators including Chelo Gemina, Artistic Director and CEO of Acts Manila Ballet School: lan Julius Alcaraz, Founder of Fusion Dance School, Professional Ballet Teacher at Hola Dance Club, and educator with the Cultural Exchange Program and Professional Dance Sports Association of the Philippines; and Johanna Sotto, Professional Ballet Teacher affiliated with Ballet City and international ballet training .Committed to excellence in dance education, Shin Thant holds the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) National Training Curriculum Teacher Certification - Primary through Level 3, demonstrating expertise in age-appropriate ballet instruction and progressive technical development. She is also a Certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT Teacher, specializing in strength, alignment, body conditioning, and injury-prevention techniques for dancers.
With a strong foundation in classical ballet pedagogy and international training experience, Shin Thant is passionate about nurturing young dancers, developing technical excellence, and fostering artistic growth in a positive and disciplined learning environment.
