𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
In the final weeks of the school year, students have been sharing their learning, performing, competing, serving, celebrating milestones, and reflecting on their growth. While one chapter comes to a close, another is already beginning.

Across campus, teachers have been reflecting on the year, collaborating with colleagues, and preparing for the next steps in learning so our community continues to feel connected, supported, and ready to grow in August.

At ISY, learning does not stop when the school year ends. Students and adults alike continue to grow through reflection, preparation, and the joyful connections that make our community a place where everyone feels safe. Hope for the future is built through the work we do together.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Grade 5 students began their Compassion in Action journey with questions, ideas, and problems they cared about.

Using MISO, they investigated through media, interviews, surveys, and observations, gathering information to better understand the issues they wanted to address. They connected their thinking to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, then prepared and took action in thoughtful, creative ways.

At the showcase, students demonstrated compassion by presenting their learning journey: what they investigated, how their ideas developed, the action they took, and the growth they celebrated.

Congratulations, Grade 5, for showing courage, creativity, critical thinking, and care.

These reflections give us one more chance to pause and appreciate the friendships, growth, confidence, service, and sense of belonging that have shaped their time at ISY.

Tonight, we celebrate the graduation of the ISY Class of 2026. As the anticipation builds, we are sharing more reflections from our seniors about the experiences, relationships, and learning they will carry with them beyond ISY.
