SDEC International School ‘Welcome Back to School’ for Year-2 to Year-9 Classes (2026-2027 Academic Year) successfully commenced today with a very warm welcome by the teachers and the staff at two different school arrival times at 8.30 am, and 9.30 am.
Students were enthusiastic about coming back to school for their new academic year in their promoted classes with seemingly having new academic resolutions after having (2) months of ‘Summer Break’.
The school sincerely encourages the students to keep up with their productive learning activities regardless of age, space and time limit in this new academic year, and earnestly urges them to keep going with their new academic studies in a very enthusiastic and curious manner.
It was indeed a very emotional moments for all the teachers and the students since it has been quite a while before their reunion on this particular school reopening day.

“SDEC Summer Classes, English & Mathematics, Taekwondo, Futsal Program, STEAM Classes (2026) Graduation (Certificate Awarding) & Closing Ceremony Successfully Concludes”
Hello, everyone. Thank you for your attention and very warm greetings from SDEC International School!
SDEC International School celebrated the ‘Conclusion of Summer Classes (2026)’ with a closing ceremony in a very joyous manner with a very-well organized agenda, during the usual school hour at the school’s Multi-Purpose-Hall on Tuesday 26th May 2026.
The ceremony was attended by Summer English & Mathematics Classes Students with their Summer English & Mathematics Specialist Teachers, Summer Futsal Course Students with their PE Coach/Teacher Sayar U Tun Tun Win_ AFC Level-3 Certified Coach_ Summer Taekwondo Athletes with their Taekwondo Chief Coach Sayar U Soe Moe Lwin (6th Degree Black Belt Grand Master_ Myanmar Taekwondo Federation), STEAM Class Students with their STEAM Specialist Teachers, Academic Directors, Management Team Officials and Staff.
Some ELT Teachers performed as Masters of Ceremony and two summer students joined them as Co-Hosts. First of all, the MCs welcomed everyone and explained the objectives of the ceremony and announced the Agenda Details. Then, official opening of the Closing Ceremony was announced by Co-Hosts.
Later, the MCs call upon the audience to rise and salute the State Flag while National Anthem was being played.
To begin the agenda, the Hosts invited Tr Thin Thin Hlaing_ An Academic Director_ to come upon the stage to deliver a speech of some inspiring and encouraging words to the students. The Academic Director solemnly encouraged the students to keep up with their productive learning activities regardless of age, space and time limit.
Some ELT, STEAM & Maths Teachers were also invited to the stage, and each of who gave very warm, remarkable, and inspiring speech. They earnestly urged the students to keep going with their studies in a very enthusiastic and curious manner. It was indeed a very emotional moments for all the teachers and the students since they had established an unseen attachment among themselves in a short time. They enjoyed a time of some best parts of their lives with full of teachings, learnings, doing fun and creative activities during these three months.
Next, the Entertainment Programs among the different levels of the students were performed on the stage.
Later, Certificates were awarded to the students followed by their performances, dances, quiz games, descriptive stories and plays that gave new insights, including a special ‘Solo Entertainment’ of a Summer Student dancing with a very popular song.
Refreshments wear served to the students and the staff while the ceremony was going on.
At the end of the ceremony, return-home-gifts and SDEC balloons were given to all who were present on the occasion.
It was obviously a very special and exciting moments for everyone at the school to participate in this ceremony while to bid farewell until Next Summer (2027) especially for the external students.

‘SDEC Summer English & Mathematics Program (2026) Open House Event (Parent-Teacher Conference) Successfully Holds’
Hello, everyone, and thank you for your attention to this post with very warm greetings from SDEC International School!
SDEC International School held an Open House Event for Summer Classes (2026) on Monday 25th May 2026 from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm at Campus-A.
During the session, the parents and the teachers cordially, openly discussed on the progress of the respective students of different levels; exchanged their views on the strong points and weak points on the students’ study progress areas.
Meanwhile, Progress Reports (Report Cards) of individual student were issued to the parents, and Admissions Process were arranged for those students who would like to study at SDEC as Academic Regular Students in the upcoming 2026-2027 Academic Year.
In addition, Placement Tests Arrangements were also done for those students who have not sat for the Placement Test yet.

SDEC International Preschool held an Open House Event (Parent-Teacher Conference) on Monday 18th May 2026, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm at the school library in Campus-A.
It was the Third Semester Open House event, and during the session, the parents and the teachers cordially, openly discussed on the progress of the respective pupils; exchanged their views on the strong points and weak points on the pupils’ study progress areas.
Meanwhile, it is crucial for everyone to acknowledge that the pupils are of different personalities, and are forever required to be happy, curious, active and observant learners since they are just in the very early years as well as in the foundation stages of their studies, and need to have best impressions on their pupils-friendly-classrooms, happy and well-facilitated-school- environment, and above all, their own life while receiving kind support and attention both at home and at school.
Furthermore, Graduation Gowns were also presented to the parents/guardians of Year-1 Pupils, who are about to commence their Key Stage-1-Primary Studies or Year-2 of their Cambridge Education right after the Preschool Graduation Ceremony for the upcoming 2026-2027 Academic Year.
