TROPICAL STORM HIGOS - MCS UPDATE #02 - JUNE 24, 2026 (8:00 AM)

Dear Mount Carmel School Families,

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and doing well as Tropical Storm Higos moves away from the Marianas. Following the Governor’s “All Clear” announcement, our offices will resume normal summer operating hours: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM and 1:00 PM–4:00 PM.

TROPICAL STORM HIGOS - MCS UPDATE #01 - JUNE 23, 2026 (1:00 PM)

Dear Mount Carmel School Families,
We hope you are having a safe week. As of 1:00 PM today, June 23,2026, the Office of the Governor has declared that the CNMI is in CONDITION I for TROPICAL STORM HIGOS (08W).

Mount Carmel School’s policy on school cancellations related to storms state: “If the Governor declares “Condition 2” for a typhoon/tropical storm, all classes will be canceled.”

As such, we are preemptively closing our offices early today out of abundance of caution. We will continue posting updates as to when the MCS offices will reopen once conditions improve. Stay up to date by viewing the following sources:
