Fis-26 ta’ Mejju, il-klassi tar-REACH marret żjara edukattiva fl-Akkwarju Nazzjonali fejn l-istudenti kellhom l-opportunità jesploraw ambjent differenti u edukattiv. Matul iż-żjara, huma osservaw diversi speċi ta’ ħut u ħlejjaq tal-baħar, filwaqt li tgħallmu fatti interessanti dwar il-ħajja marina u kif għandna nieħdu ħsieb l-ambjent marittimu.
L-istudenti ħadu sehem f’attivitajiet interattivi u esperjenzi hands-on li għenuhom jitgħallmu b’mod aktar prattiku u divertenti. Din iż-żjara kienet opportunità sabiħa biex jiżviluppaw il-kurżità tagħhom, it-tagħlim permezz tal-esperjenza u l-ħiliet soċjali waqt li gawdew ħin flimkien barra mill-klassi.

Fil-21 ta’ Mejju, il-klassi tar-REACH kellha mistieden mhux tas-soltu – robot bl-isem ta’ Tommy. Dan ir-robot qara’ l-ktieb Pirate Pete and his Smelly Feet lill-istudenti filwaqt li anima wkoll is-sessjoni permezz ta’ attivitajiet u żfin. L-istudenti kellhom iċ-ċans jinteraġixxu miegħu u jistaqsuh mistoqsijiet, esperjenza li ħolqot ħafna entużjażmu u parteċipazzjoni.
Grazzi kbira lis-Sa Claire Bonello mill-Aġenzija Nazzjonali tal-Litteriżmu li mexxiet din is-sessjoni b’mod tant interessanti u interattiv.

✨ As we come to the end of the scholastic year 2025–2026… ✨
Here’s a throwback at one of our exciting in-house maths activities — the Verdala Maths Trail, held on 5th May 2026.
On the day, the traditional classroom was taken outdoors as our Year 9 students embarked on a mathematical trail across the school grounds. Along their path, they tackled a series of engaging stations designed to challenge their mathematical thinking, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills, all while applying maths to real-life situations and maths-related puzzles. The activity also encouraged strong teamwork and collaboration throughout.
👏 A big well done to all participating students for their enthusiasm and effort!
🏆 A special shout-out goes to the winning team:
Andrea Buhagiar, Jacob Dalli, Prasita Prasanth, Jethro Farrugia, Kelvin Zammit, and Louis Ferreira.
🎉 A massive well done to all involved!

As part of the Building Sustainable Competences (BUSTIC EDU) Project, our Geography 9.3 students took part in an activity focusing on one of Malta’s most precious natural resources — our aquifers.
During the session, students explored the major threats facing Maltese aquifers, including over-extraction, pollution, and increase in demand due to population increase. Through discussion and teamwork, they proposed practical solutions to promote a more sustainable use of water in Malta.
Well done to all students for their active participation and thoughtful ideas on how to protect the environment and build a more sustainable future for all.! 👏 Ms Muscat Xerri and Mr Lufi
