A school is only as strong as the people within it.
On the occasion of our Foundation Day, we took a proud moment to honour the academic, administrative and operations staff who are the backbone of San Anton School.
From those who have dedicated decades to this community, to those who bring fresh energy and enthusiasm, every one of them shapes the school our students experience each day.
Head of School Ms. Bernadette Stivala presented Continuous Service Awards to a number of long-serving staff members — a meaningful acknowledgement of their extraordinary commitment over the years.
We are grateful, always, for the people who make this school a place of genuine growth and lasting impact.

Last Friday evening, our San Anton School family came together to celebrate Foundation Day — a occasion that holds a special place in our hearts, coinciding as it does with the feast of our patron saint, St. Anthony.
Wonderfully compèred by Ms Alison Bird, the evening opened with Holy Mass celebrated by Fr Oliver Borg Olivier, enriched by the voices of our student and staff choir under the direction of Ms Michela Galea, who also reintroduced our old school hymn, brought back to life by Mr Matthew Vella.
The Student Council, led by Mr Shawn and Ms Amanda, then took to the floor and addressed the whole school community with confidence and pride, sharing the many initiatives and achievements of the year. Their words reflected the true spirit of San Anton — a community committed to inclusivity, respect, and making a real difference together.
Ms Bernadette Stivala followed with the Continuous Service Awards, honouring the dedication of our long-serving staff members — a well-deserved recognition of the people who give so much to this school, year after year.
The evening closed with a warm reception, where guests also had the chance to admire the remarkable work of our Grade 12 students at their Art Exhibition.
A truly memorable evening — and a beautiful reminder of everything that makes San Anton special.

Knowledge and judgement. Confidence and humility. Ambition and kindness. The balance we strive for, every single day.
Happy Foundation Day to all!
Once the band struck up their first march, there was no holding anyone back. Students and teachers alike took to the grounds and danced to their heart's content, swept up in the joy of live, traditional Maltese band music under the morning sun.
🎺 Band marches, choir voices, and St. Anthony leading the way — this morning's Festa had it all.
Tikka Banda brought the procession to life with stirring traditional Maltese marches, while Fr. Alan led Holy Mass on the Sports Pitch — beautifully animated by Ms. Michela and the school choir.
Moments like these are what make San Anton School truly special. 🙏

Viva Sant' Antnin! 🎉
This morning, San Anton School celebrated its traditional school Festa in honour of our patron saint, St. Anthony! The morning was filled with Mass, a statue procession, and the vibrant sounds of a live band.
In the lead-up to the day, our Early Years and Junior Sector students created beautiful hand-painted bunting that brought festive colour to our playgrounds.
Our Junior Sector students and Grade 3s gathered on the Sports Pitch for Holy Mass, led by Senior School Chaplain Fr. Alan and beautifully animated by Ms. Michela and the school choir.
The celebration then came alive with the arrival of Tikka Banda, who led the procession carrying St. Anthony's statue to the sound of traditional Maltese band marches.
A huge thank you to Ms. Francesca and Mr. Matthew for organising this cherished tradition once again. 🙏
We now look forward to tomorrow evening's community celebrations!

After the last exam paper, it was time to celebrate the right way. 🌞
A group of our Grade 12 students spent the day in Gozo with their educators — beach, pool party, BBQ, and all the good vibes that come with finally being done.
Congratulations, Grade 12!
