KidZone Childcare Centre and Summer Club

Our little ones had lots of fun creating a special Father’s Day gift for their daddies. Using their tiny handprints, they decorated caps to make a unique keepsake that Daddy can treasure for years to come.

We also reminded the children not to tell Daddy what they were making because it was a surprise. Their adorable response was, “No, it’s a secret!” 🤫💙

🍕 Cooking Activity Today 🍕

Today, the children had great fun making their own mini pizza baguettes! They spread tomato paste onto slices of baguette, added salami and shredded cheese on top. Once everyone had finished preparing their creations, we put them in the oven to melt the cheese.🧀

After they were cooked, we cut them into small pieces for the children to enjoy. As they tasted them, many of the children excitedly said, “ This is Pizza!”🍕

🌯 Cooking Activity with the Children 🌯

Last week, the children enjoyed a fun cooking activity making their own wraps! They spread cream cheese onto wraps, added ham and sliced cheese, then carefully rolled them up and cut them into bite-sized pinwheels.

The children loved taking part in the preparation and were excited to taste their creations. It was wonderful to see them developing their fine motor skills, following simple instructions, and enjoying a healthy, hands-on experience together.

They liked them so much and were very proud of what they made! 😊👏
