A Milestone for Nursing in Malta
Today, as we observe International Nurses Day, we are pleased to share a significant milestone for our academic community.
We are proud to announce that our colleague, Roberta Sammut, has been promoted to Full Professor. This is an achievement, as she becomes the first-ever Professor in the UM Nursing Department in Malta.
This year’s theme, "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives," highlights the importance of investing in nursing leadership and education. Professor Sammut’s promotion is a testament to this empowerment and represents a vital step forward for the future of healthcare in Malta.
