Understanding the specific duties of each member ensures accountability and a rapid response during an emergency. Today we ensured that the members of SEOP know their roles and responsibilities by discussing and guiding them. This session was carried out by Maldives National Defence Force in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Skills Development

Fire drills in schools are critical for safeguarding lives by developing automatic muscle memory and reducing panic during real emergencies. Regular practice ensures that students and staff can evacuate swiftly, locate assembly
points, and adhere to safety protocols seamlessly when seconds count. Therefore, Ministry of Education - School Health and Safety Section collaborating with Maldives
Defense Force will be conducting Fire Drills in Schools. Fire Drill in Kaamil Didi will commence on 18th June 2026.
Prior to this event information sessions will be carried out by MNDF for staff and stakeholders involved. The first session was held today for the staff.

Recent research and practical experience in early childhood education consistently demonstrate that the quality and appropriateness of teaching methods are more crucial than the sheer amount of time spent when it comes to preschoolers learning English as a second language.
We have collaboratively participated with Mohamed Qasim Preschool in the workshop for teaching English Syllabus conducted by National Institute of Education. We gratefully acknowledge NIE for providing us this opportunity to grow together and reach common goals when teaching English Syllabus for foundation stage
