As part of our World Environment Day activities, our Prefect Board members took part in a harbour clean-up initiative, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for our community. We commend their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to protecting our surroundings through meaningful community service.

In celebration of World Environment Day, our Grade 10 students participated in a coral planting session organized by Outrigger Maafushivaru Resort. This meaningful hands-on experience helped students learn about the importance of coral reef conservation and their role in protecting our marine environment. We extend our sincere gratitude to Outrigger Maafushivaru Resort for providing this valuable opportunity and for their commitment to environmental sustainability and youth engagement.

Our school was pleased to welcome the island's newly elected Council Members and Women's Development Committee (WDC) Members for a discussion meeting. The session provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration, exchange ideas, and discuss ways to work together in supporting the development of our students, school, and community. We congratulate the newly elected members and look forward to a productive partnership ahead.

In observance of World Environment Day, our Scouts took part in a community service activity by collecting and clearing rocks from the Water Park beach area. Through their dedication and teamwork, they contributed to creating a safer and cleaner environment for the community while demonstrating the Scout values of service, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

As part of their Scout activities, our scouts had the opportunity to observe and try out basic carpentry work, gaining hands-on experience with tools, techniques, and craftsmanship. This practical task helped develop their problem-solving skills, teamwork, patience, and appreciation for skilled trades.

Developing strong observation skills is a foundational part of a Scout's training. Our Scouts recently put their analytical skills to work to fulfill their Scout Standard Observation requirement. By learning to notice the finer details around them, they are taking another significant step forward in their personal growth and Scouting journey.
