2026 ANNUAL SPORTS DAY – A DAY TO REMEMBER!

On Saturday, 6th June, Namiwawa Private School held its Annual Sports Day, bringing together learners, parents, and staff for a fun-filled and exciting day of competition.
The programme featured a variety of sporting activities including track events, tyre races, sack races, bottle fill-up races, dress-up races, hurdles, relays, and many other events. Our learners demonstrated determination, teamwork, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day.

Parents were not left out of the action. They actively participated in aerobics before taking on the learners in several exciting contests. The parents emerged victorious in the tug of war, defeated the learners 11-3 in netball, and secured a 3-1 win in football.
The competition among the houses was intense from start to finish. The Tigers successfully defended their championship title with 72 points. The Cheetahs made remarkable progress, moving from third position last year to finish second with 66 points, while the Jaguars finished in third place with 58 points.

The championship trophy was presented by the Director of Operations, Mr. J. Wirima, who congratulated all participants for their hard work, discipline, and commitment.
We would like to thank our learners, parents, staff, and supporters for making this year's Sports Day a great success. Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and participation made the day truly memorable.
Congratulations to the Tigers for retaining the championship, and well done to the Cheetahs and Jaguars for their outstanding performances.
Together, we learn, compete, and grow!
