Yesterday, our Student Garden Service Club had the honour of welcoming Japanese Ambassador Naito to campus.
This marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration project, as our students plan to create a Zen garden in the school compound. The Ambassador shared the philosophy behind Zen gardens and offered practical ideas about the essential elements needed to design one.
Afterwards, we enjoyed showing him around our own garden spaces on campus. It was an inspiring and memorable moment for our students, sparking creativity and reflection on how nature and culture connect.
