POSITION: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS {(Sciences (1) & Humanities (1)}

INTRODUCTION
Advent Private Secondary School is a day scholar school for both boys and girls. The school is located in area 36 along Share World university road.

Advent Private Secondary School is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced secondary school teachers to fill the vacant positions in the sciences and humanities departments.

NOTE:
•Those applying for sciences must have majored Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and can teach any one science subject
•Those applying for humanities must have majored History or Geography and can teach any one humanities subject

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:
• Should be comfortable teaching subject combination in all classes.
•Knowledge in MANEB requirements on examinations in the applied subject combination.
•Not less than 3 years’ hands on experience for degree holders and not less than 5 years’ hands on experience for diploma holders.
•Proven good track record of results on both JCE and MSCE examinations.
•Science teachers must be able to prepare chemicals and conduct experiments

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or Diploma in Education, or any other relevant degree or Diploma with a University Certificate in Education (UCE) from accredited institutions.
