Crossroads Hotel manager Sameer Sacranie, who was kidnapped last month, is safe and has returned home.
Police spokesperson Lael Chimtembo confirmed the news on police FM and posted it on social media.
According chimtembo, Sacranie walked alone to his father's house at around 11:30pm on Tuesday night and is fine.
The police, however, refused to give details about Sacranie's whereabouts or what prompted his release or who kidnapped him, and the police spokesperson said police would release a statement soon.
Sacranie was kidnapped on February 6 at around 10:30am from his office at the Crossroads Hotel by three men in white robes who fired two shots into the air and forced him into a Toyota Fortuner before fleeing the scene.
