MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TO INTRODUCE PORTUGUESE AND SWAHILI

The Ministry of Education has started processes to introduce Portuguese and Swahili languages in its curriculum following a directive by President Lazarus Chakwera in April this year.

The Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Chikondi Chimala says the ministry is consulting various stakeholders to bang heads on how to go about the idea.

Chimala says they are working with the Malawi Institute of Education, a mandated institution for curriculum development and review.

10;Ask for pardon whenever you don't understand the question, The Interviewer will ask it in a way that you can understand better. Don't rush to answer when you don't understand
the question. It shows that you don't have
listening skills.

11;Don't be too bossy when answering questions.
Speaking with lots of eeeh eehh, you know?.. as
you know...

12; Speak slowly but very sure of what you are
speaking about. Remember Ndithendithe......

13;Don't
contradict yourself about the facts you
are giving very much on your qualification,
experience, back ground. It shows that you are not honest.

14;Be at ease/ sit comfortably.

15;Don't ever make a mistake to tell the panel
that I applied for this job because I was just
staying when asked Why do you want to join this Organization. It shows that your heart is not for
that organization/post therefore chances are high
that you may leave them in no time. Convince
them that you are the right person and you will
assist them even if your professional field/ experience is different to that post.

16:Tell us your weakness/strength......wow! This
is one of the silly questions that make many people fail. They are not interested to know whether you are short tempered or you wake up

Management would like to communicate to all students with reference to the subject above that opening date for second semester is 12th September 2021.

All students must take note of the following:

a. All fees payments must be done through the bank before students report for registration

b. Registration process will be done on Monday and Tuesday, 13th and 14th September, 2021.

c. Classes will commence on 15th September 2021
