EXAMINATION FEES PAYMENT FOR NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS (MSCE, JCE, PSLCE) CLOSES 18TH FEBRUARY (OFFLINE) AND 12TH MARCH 2022 (ONLINE)
OFFLINE - 18th February 2022
This is a reminder that registration of candidates for 2022 JCE, PSLCE and MSCE examinations in the following education divisions is being done offline and will close on 18th February, 2022.
1. Central East Education Division (CEED) - Nkhotakota, Dowa, Kasungu, Salima and Ntchisi districts
2. South West Education Division ( SWED)- Chikwawa, Blantyre Rural, Blantyre Urban, Mwanza, Nsanje
3. Shire Highlands Education Division ( SHED)- Mulanje, Thyolo, Phalombe and Chiradzulu districts
ONLINE - 12th March 2022
Districts in the Northern Education Division (NED) , Central West Education Division (CWED) and South East Education Division (SEED) are implementing online registration and electronic payment of examination fees.
1. Northern Education Division - Mzimba South, Mzimba North, Nkhata Bay, Rumphi, Karonga, Chitipa, Likoma
2. Central West Education Division - Lilongwe Rural, Lilongwe Urban, Mchinji, Ntcheu, Dedza
3. South East Education Division - Zomba Rural, Zomba Urban, Balaka, Mangochi, Machinga
Students who wish to sit 2022 PSLCE, JCE or MSCE examinations in the three education divisions will, therefore, register for the examinations online at their respective MANEB approved centres .The online system will generate an invoice which individual candidates or their representatives will use to pay examination fees to MANEB through National Bank Mo626, NBS Easy Bank and TNM Mpamba epayment platforms.

PRESS BRIEFING ON RELEASE OF 2021 PSLCE and JCE RESULTS IN PROGRESS
Out of 270, 576 who sat for PSLCE exams 226, 809 have passed representing 83.83 %, the highest so far in the past 5 years.
Out of 1,676 SNE candidates who sat for the PSLCE exams 1,160 have passed representing 69.21 %.
Results for 46 candidates have been withheld for contravening examinations regulations.
Out of 129,928 who sat the JCE exams 98, 753 have passed representing 76.0% pass rate. This pass rate is comparable to the pass rates for the previous JCE exams . Results of 10 JCE candidates have been withheld for contravening examinations regulations.
All candidates wishing to query their results should do so in writing through heads of schools where they registered for their examinations. All queries to reach MANEB by 16th January, 2022.

Malawi Government to Recruit 5,703 Teachers
Government is this year set to recruit 5,703 teachers covering both the Secondary and Basic Sectors.
Ministry of Education has already flighted adverts for recruitment of secondary school teachers while the Ministry of Local Government-Malawi will facilitate process for the recruitment of primary school teachers.
- 2, 200 Secondary School Teachers
- 1, 500 Auxiliary Secondary School Teachers under the Equity with Quality and Learning at Secondary Project
- 2, 003 Primary School Teachers
- 456 General Education Staff
In total, Government will under this recruitment process, recruit a total of 6, 159 people in the education sector alone

Avoid all forms of cheating until you finish your exam. Cheating is not good and it reduces the purpose of the exam.

Honourable Catherine Gotani Hara, M. P, speaker of the national assembly, commissioning a borehole at St. Michael's Primary School today the 18th of October 2021, alongside the C. E. O, Mzimba North. In his speech, the head teacher of the school thanked the M.P for her continued support towards education of the learners within her constituency.
