The ICT Department at Mzuzu
University, an accredited Cisco Networking Academy, is pleased to invite applicants to the upcoming Cisco's CCNA Module 1 training on Computer Networks scheduled from 5th January 2026 to 27th February 2026.

This is the first module in the Cisco's Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification Pathway.

It will be delivered online from 18:00PM to 20:00PM every Thursday and Friday evening.

The course is designed to provide a strong, practical foundation in modern networking. As the first of a three-part series, it focuses on
equipping students with state-of-the-art, hands-on skills essential for
designing, managing, and troubleshooting today's network infrastructures.

Scammers are posing as MZUNI officials and are requesting candidates to confirm their selection by sending money via mobile money.

Our congratulations to Dr Enock Tung'ande Mbewe who recently graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from one of Africa's leading universities, the University of Cape Town.

Dr Tung'ande's thesis was titled "Cost-driven internet security decision model". He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of ICT and also Mzuni's Acting Director of ICT. He holds a BSc (ICT) and MSc (Information Theory, Coding and Cryptography), both from Mzuzu University.
