10 June 2026 | National Accounting Student Excellence Award (NASEA) 2025 | Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

Congratulations to our outstanding Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) student, Jeremy Lim Kar Sin, on being selected as Universiti Tenaga Nasional's (UNITEN) recipient of the National Accounting Student Excellence Award (NASEA) 2025.

The award was conferred during the MIA International Accountants Conference 2026 held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, recognising Jeremy's exceptional academic achievements, leadership qualities, and active contributions to the accounting profession throughout his undergraduate studies.

Jeremy has consistently demonstrated excellence in both academic and extracurricular pursuits, maintaining an almost perfect CGPA of 3.99 while accumulating an impressive number of SCORUN points. His accomplishments reflect UNITEN's commitment to nurturing well-rounded, future-ready accounting professionals.

A recipient of the UNITEN Bright/Merit – Dato' Low Tuck Kwong Scholarship, Jeremy has actively participated in numerous academic and professional development activities. Among his notable achievements are:

• First Runner-Up, The Business Strategy Challenge – Management Simulation Games (MSG) at the 25th MICPA x CA ANZ Accountancy Week
• Champion, InnoPitch 2024
• Most Outstanding Participant Award, Accounting Students Conference 2024
• Appointment as a MICPA Student Councillor

Known for his intellectual curiosity, humility, and approachable personality, Jeremy has consistently distinguished himself as a student leader and role model among his peers.

Jeremy is currently attached to KPMG Malaysia as an Audit Associate and is pursuing the MICPA x CA ANZ Qualifying Programme, sponsored by KPMG PLT under the MICPA Student Sponsorship Programme (SSP). He has successfully completed several professional papers and continues to make steady progress towards becoming a highly accomplished accounting professional.

We are immensely proud of Jeremy's achievement, which stands as a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence. His success serves as an inspiration to the UNITEN community and exemplifies the qualities we aspire to cultivate in our graduates.

Benchmark Visit to UiTM – 4 June 2026

A delegation from UNITEN Business School (UBS), led by Ts. Dr. Siti Indati Mustapa, Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation and Postgraduate), visited the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) on 4 June 2026 for a benchmark visit.

The delegation was warmly received by Professor Ts. Dr. Shafinar Haji Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and her team. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and share best practices in postgraduate programme management, student supervision systems, and research support facilities.This engagement reflects UNITEN's commitment to continuous improvement in postgraduate education, research excellence, and academic quality.

We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality and insightful sharing by Professor Ts. Dr. Shafinar Haji Ismail and the UiTM team.
