Louie is starting big boy school soon
& honestly…
I don’t know what I’m feeling.
The toilet scares me,
The independence scares me,
The hallways and railing scare me too.
On the other hand, I don’t want him to grow up fearful, fussing over toilets & needing me for every little things.
To my surprised, he walked in confidently, greeted the guard & teachers, sat on a chair, picked up a book and started reading. He interacted with the teacher and went to the loo (a squat toilet) all by himself. After all that, he asked me … when am I starting big boy school mommy?
Motherhood is really just loving deeply, fiercely & unconditionally, while constantly learning to let go. 🤍

It’s only available online tomorrow onwards, so we had to take a trip to IKEA which I normally dread. My top pet peeve is heading to a mall on Sunday.
