The history of Perfection Training Academy began as a private tuition center in Malaysia around 1977–1978. Over time, it expanded from a small educational center into a broader academy focused on academic learning, English programs, seminars, motivation, and creative development workshops.


The academy was founded and led by Dr. Christopher Wong, who developed the academy around a “whole-brain learning” and holistic education philosophy. Under his leadership, Perfection introduced learning approaches that combine academics with creativity and personal development.

Key milestones in its development include:

• Started as a private tuition center (1977–1978)
• Formally established as an academy in the early 1990s and later incorporated as a company in 1997
• Expanded into multiple centers across Malaysia with facilities such as Studio Café, Multilab, Student Lounge, Theatre, and Cyber Studio
• Became involved in nationwide educational seminars, including major SPM/PT3 motivational programs and teacher training initiatives

Today, Perfection positions itself as a “boutique-styled tuition centre” focused not only on examination results but also on building confidence, communication skills, and student development.
